4 – Contact

When you contact us (e.g., via contact form or email), we collect personal data. The specific data collected through a contact form is outlined in the respective form. These details are stored and used solely to address your inquiry or for communication purposes and associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims to conclude a contract, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR additionally serves as the legal basis for processing. Your data is deleted after final processing of your request, typically when it is evident that the matter in question has been resolved, and provided there are no legal retention obligations preventing deletion.

5 – Data Processing for Account Opening and Contract Execution

To process your order, we collaborate with the following service providers who assist us in executing concluded contracts, either fully or partially. Certain personal data will be transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

As part of contract fulfillment, we will disclose your personal data to DHL, our designated transport company responsible for delivering the goods, to the extent necessary for the delivery. For payment processing, we will forward your payment details to the designated financial institution, if required for completing the transaction. If payment service providers are involved, specific details will be explicitly provided below. The legal basis for data transmission is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

7 – Rights of the Data Subject

7.1 Current data protection laws grant you comprehensive rights regarding the processing of your personal data by the data controller (referred to as "Controller" below), which we outline below:

  • Right to Information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR: You have the right to obtain information about your personal data processed by us, including the purposes of processing, categories of personal data processed, recipients or categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged storage period or the criteria used to determine that period, the existence of the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, complaint to a supervisory authority, the source of your data if not collected from you, the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing, and your right to be informed of the guarantees pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR when your data are transferred to third countries.
  • Right to Rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR: You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or the completion of incomplete personal data stored by us.
  • Right to Erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR: You have the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data stored by us if the processing is not necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to obtain restriction of processing of your personal data if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you oppose the erasure of the data and request the restriction of their use instead, if we no longer need the data for the purposes of processing but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or if you have objected to processing pending the verification whether our legitimate grounds override yours.
  • Right to Information pursuant to Art. 19 GDPR: If you have asserted the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing against the Controller, the Controller is obligated to communicate any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed about these recipients.
  • Right to Data Portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR: You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another controller, where technically feasible.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time with effect for the future. In the event of withdrawal, we will promptly delete the affected data, unless further processing can be based on a legal basis for processing without consent. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR: If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

7.2 – Right to Object

If we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests as part of a balancing of interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, with effect for the future.

If you exercise your right to object, we will cease processing the affected data. However, further processing may be permitted if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is processed by us for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing. You can exercise your objection as described above.

If you exercise your right to object, we will cease processing the affected data for direct marketing purposes

8 – Duration of Personal Data Storage

The duration for which personal data is stored is determined by the respective legal retention period (e.g., commercial and tax retention periods). Once these periods expire, the relevant data is routinely deleted, provided it is no longer necessary for contract fulfillment or initiation, and there is no longer a legitimate interest on our part to continue storing it.
